About Me
I am Eric Liebhardt, a senior hotel, resort, and hospitality management major from Cedar City, Utah. Music and the arts have been a huge part of my life. I started my time at SUU as a music education major and play in the Orchestra of Southern Utah and SUU Symphonic Orchestra, both violin and viola. My passion for arts education has also given me an opportunity to teach choir to children at SUU ARTSfusion camp and teach private violin and viola lessons.
Cedar City Music Arts has been an influential part of my musical passion and education, since one of CCMA’s purposes is to bring world-class performances to our rural community. I have found those performances to broaden my worldview as I am introduced to new styles of art. Over the years, CCMA’s attendance and following have declined. Because it is an organization that I enjoy, I decided to volunteer with CCMA to incorporate ways to assist with their ticket sales through marketing and advertising by community involvement, cross promotion, and vertical integration.
I love the arts and want CCMA to flourish at a time when the arts seems to be the first to go.
